Elzbieta Rybicka-Kozlowska

Dr. Rybicka- Kozlowska joined Durham Nephrology in 2005. She graduated from Warsaw Medical School in Poland where she continued to practice medicine and teach for six years. Subsequently, she moved to the United States and completed her American training in internal medicine, nephrology and transplant nephrology at Stony Brook University in New York. She practiced nephrology and transplant nephrology in a large nephrology group in Baltimore before moving to Durham. Her primary interest is in taking care of patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension and preparing patients for kidney transplantation as well as follow up after kidney and pancreas transplant surgery. She is UNOS certified in transplantation and board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and is the head of our peritoneal dialysis program.
