Insurance and Billing

We ask that you provide us with current and accurate information about your insurance coverage. We will file claims to your insurance company for all services we provide. We are participating providers with many insurance plans including Medicare, North Carolina Medicaid and various other HMO and PPO plans in the area. If you are self-referred and your insurance policy requires a Primary Care Physician (PCP) referral or prior authorization before being seen, we ask that you contact your PCP and obtain the necessary approval prior to your appointment. All eligible patients are expected to pay co-payments at the time of service. We accept cash, checks and credit cards. If you do not have any insurance coverage, we can discuss our Self Pay Financial Plan. No facility fee charges.

Insurance we Accept

Durham Nephrology Associates accepts most insurances.  If you have further questions, please call our financial counselor using either office phone number and we will assist you with determining whether or not your insurance will cover your visit.
