Caitlin Monaco

Caitlin D. Monaco, PA-C joined Durham Nephrology in February 2024. In 2013 she earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in clinical laboratory science with minors in both chemistry and biology. She worked as a microbiology laboratory technologist at Duke University Hospital and later as a clinical research coordinator for Duke Infectious Disease prior to physician assistant school. She earned her Master of Medical Science in 2021 from Methodist University and worked as a hospitalist PA following graduation. Caitlin decided to work in Nephrology because she enjoys the challenge of the specialty and looks forward to educating and caring for her future patients. Caitlin works with the physicians helping to take care of patients in Duke Regional Hospital, several Fresenius dialysis units and Durham Nephrology’s Durham and Oxford offices.
